VWC’s Executive Director Honored with the IAIABC 2023 International Collaboration Award

VWC Executive Director Evelyn McGill

[Denver, CO] - On September 13th, 2023, the Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission's Executive Director, Evelyn V. McGill, received the 2023 International Collaboration Award, presented by the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions (IAIABC).

This award recognizes McGill's excellence in promoting collaboration and understanding between international workers' compensation and social security agencies. She was one of eight individuals recognized for their service to the IAIABC and the workers’ compensation industry through their annual President's Awards.

The IAIABC's President’s Awards honor those who demonstrate commitment to reducing harm and aiding recovery from occupational injuries and illnesses. The IAIABC’s President, Mark Long, presented the award during a luncheon celebration at their 109th convention in Denver, Colorado. The IAIABC honors those who demonstrate commitment and achievement in reducing harm and aiding recovery of injured workers.
