EDI Implementation Guide

The Implementation Guide is designed to assist Insurers, Self-Insurers, and Claim Administrators with the transition from paper filing to electronic filing of first and subsequent reports of injury. The Guide will serve as a tool during the EDI set up process for reporting first reports of injury and subsequent reports of injury and contains all of the requirements needed to successfully submit those transactions to the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission.
